James & Elizabeth DeVito

The Devito's

James & Elizabeth DeVito, the visionary entrepreneurs and restauranteurs behind many renowned restaurants in Tampa Bay, bring you their latest concept, DeVito's Italian Specialties. They have been in the restaurant business for over 12 years and carry a level of expertise that cannot be matched. Originally from New York and with his heritage ranging from multiple regions of Italy, James DeVito understands the importance and value of quality service and fresh food. His vision for DeVito's was to bring Italian classics to Downtown Tampa and to ensure that it was done right, and that is exactly what he and his wife, Elizabeth DeVito, did.  



Joe joins us with over twenty years’ experience in a multifaceted culinary training and food services. His professional expertise and standards are the use of only the highest quality ingredients, and cleanliness creates the perfect setting for every meal. He is an extremely accomplished chef working with such greats as Daniel Boulud of Café Boulud & Daniels. He has prepared meals with excitement and honor for former President Clinton and his family and the cast and crew of his Kaufman Astoria Studios, and he was also the on-site personnel chef to the president Hohn of N.Y. Life in 1995, plus many more highly profiled people.

Chef Alessandro Magnani was born in Bari, in the southern Italian region of Puglia, and has been the pioneer behind developing the food for DeVito's. Alessandro is known for only using premium, high-quality ingredients imported from Italy .
